Deliciously Easy Keys Classic Turkey Salad Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients:

1. 18 large eggs

2. 9 cups cooked turkey meat, chopped (dark or light meat)

3. 2 (16 oz) jars sweet pickles, chopped (or substitute with dill for less sweetness)

4. 2 1/4 (10 oz) jars mustard-mayonnaise blend (like Duke’s or Miracle Whip)

5. 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise (adjust for creaminess)

6. Optional: celery, red or green onions, golden raisins, chopped pecans, garlic powder, seasoning salt, sugar, diced bell pepper

Directions:

1.     Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand 12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath, peel, and chop.

2.     In a large bowl, mix chopped eggs, turkey, pickles, mustard-mayo blend, and mayonnaise until well combined.

3.     Add optional mix-ins to customize flavor and texture (e.g., celery, onion, pecans).

4.     Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours (or overnight) to allow flavors to meld.

5.     Serve on a bed of lettuce, with crackers, or as sandwich filling. Garnish with grapes, pecans, or cubed jellied cranberry sauce for a Keys-style party platter.
