Tender, juicy, baked lobster tails with garlic butter, parsley, and lemon juice. Serve with sauce from the pan or more melted butter for dipping. Simply delicious!
Prep Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins Serving: 12
Ingredients
8 small lobster tails
1/2 cup salted butter, melted
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 pinch seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay), or to taste
1/2 lemon, juiced
Directions
Gather ingredients, and preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Cut lobster tails straight down the middle using kitchen shears.
Butterfly the lobster meat by pulling it through the opening and laying the meat on top of the shell; place in an oven-safe baking dish.
Combine melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley in a bowl. Mix together with a spoon.
Season lobster tails with seafood seasoning and pour melted butter mixture on top until each tail is completely covered. Squeeze lemon juice over top.
Bake in the preheated oven until shells are bright red and meat is opaque, 12 to 15 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the centers should read 140 to 145 degrees F (60 to 63 degrees C).

Suggestions
I used Paul Prudomme seafood magic, poured butter over before cooking and afterwards, squeezed half lemon over two tails....This was delicious. I will be having lobster tails more often. This was so simple.
We did lobster and clams in a roaster pan. Put everything on a rack with some water in the bottom covered with lid or tinfoil. Baked for twenty minutes. Pull cover off and broil until tails are red.
Cooking lobster is always difficult for me. Not because it's hard to cook, but because it's hard NOT to eat it as sashimi! I did waver from this recipe a little. I used a small baking pan and added 1/2 inch of dry white wine to the bottom of the pan. I then covered it with heavy duty tin foil and baked (steamed) until almost done. Then I removed the foil added some butter and paprika and finished under the broiler.
Did exactly as described except that I topped more butter when I took it out of the oven. Family loved it. Thanks for the share of recipe.
Really easy to make, lobster turned out fantastic.
